The BWPHA Point Secretary will have membership packets at the first show, May 13, in Sandusky. If you wish to have a certain back number, it may not be available in her pack that day. It will be printed and available for you at the next show. Exhibitors can just use another number for the day, or choose another new permanent number.

Entry cards are now available as a downloadable Word file, 6 cards on a sheet, on the "Forms" page. It may save a lot of time for exhibitors to print cards ahead of time and more convenient to be able to type your information on them. If you do print entry cards, they MUST BE PRINTED ON 90 LB or HIGHER CARD STOCK or they will not be accepted at the entry booth. Entry cards are stored for a period of time and must be durable enough to last. White for single-judged shows, and white AND blue for double-judged shows.

Membership packets will be available at the first show in Sandusky. If you have paid a membership, and your check hasn't been processed yet, it's because the point secretary usually holds the checks until the upcoming board meeting, to give to the treasurer to deposit.

• NEW EVENT BEING PLANNED!!!! BWPHA Youth invite all BWPHA members to join us at the Cowboy Christmas, held at the MSU Pavillion, in November 2012. The Youth will be sponsoring a hospitality stall for BWPHA members for the weekend. This will not be a BWPHA point-approved event, but rather a fun, team event for BWPHA members. Everyone is welcome but must have a current BWPHA membership. Stalls at the Cowboy Christmas are $55.00 for the weekend. Members interested in attending can mail a check to Sally (Ruth) Wadsworth, 2193 N. Sandusky Road, Sandusky, MI 48471, by November 1, 2012, to assure being stalled together. We'll be sure to send out several reminders over the summer. Let's get our team spirit together and show 'em what BWPHA is made of!!!

• Attention members: May 26 & 27 is a high point weekend. Monogrammed coolers will be given for English High Point, Western High Point, and Halter High Point.

FEES & MEMBER INFORMATION:

• BWPHA selects judges from an approved list which is reviewed and updated annually. Member input from evaluation forms is much appreciated.
• *Office fee $2.00 per horse/rider combo.
• *Entry Fee: $6.00 per class per judge/Double-judged show = $12.00 per class.
• *Membership Fees:
  • *$25.00 Individual/$35.00 Family
  • *Blanket Fee available to members:
    • *Family $50 plus $1.00 per class
    • *Individual $35 plus $1.00 per class
• *Age of Exhibitor as of January 1 of current show year.
• *Age of Horse as of December 31.
• *Performance not to start before 11:00 a.m.
• *All dogs must be on a leash & under control at all times.
• *BWPHA and their sponsors are not responsible for losses or accidents on the show grounds
• *Stallions to be shown only by exhibitors 19 & Over.
• *All bits, reins, equipment must be legal, no training equipment.
• *Negative Coggins required per Public Act 121 of 2011.
